Chief Academic Officer

PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE

The Chief Academic Officer is a new position at the University, and as such, the major challenges and opportunities will be to establish and solidify itself within the culture, vision, mission, and most importantly, the structure of the University. Albizu University has evolved into two distinct campuses, one in San Juan, one in Miami, and a university center in Mayaguez.  Poised to move into a more cohesive and organized structure, one that is planned to support major new programmatic and service initiatives, the goal is to turn the University into a more publicly recognized and sustainable institution. Working closely with the Chancellors to implement the President’s ambitious agenda, the Chief Academic Officer will oversee the University’s academic development and transformation. To accomplish this agenda, the Chief Academic Officer will need to successfully integrate and synchronize the three campuses academic programs and services into a cohesive University structure, one with a uniform vision for the future and a structure to facilitate realizing this vision.
