Job Description: Assistant/Associate Professor, Industrial-Organizational Psychologist
The Master’s in Psychology Programs department at Albizu University, Miami Campus is hiring an assistant/associate professor starting fall of 2021 for its MS in I/O Psychology programs, offered on campus-based and fully online formats. The curricula follow the guidelines for graduate training in industrial-organizational psychology published by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), a division of the American Psychological Association (APA).
The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in I/O Psychology or a related field. Duties include teaching graduate courses, mentoring student research projects, coordinating practicum placement and supervision, engaging in scholarly research, and contributing to other departmental service activities. We are interested in applicants with interest in training professional practitioners who possess administrative skills and ability to function effectively in multicultural settings. A minimum of (3) years of experience teaching in higher level educational institutions, I/O field experience, and skills/interest in both live and online teaching modalities are preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
